Living things in the solid rock is still included in the list of the world that many anomalies studied by scientists. This event overturns the logic of biology and even physics. But the evidence that these events actually exist are kept, which is a stone with a mummified frog in it.

"A lot of authentic stories about the discovery of a frog or toad that lived in the hard rock." Says a writer in Scientific American in 1890.

20 years later, an editor of Nature wrote, "The problem is said to reporters about such an event would not be and if we believe the report, we consider the whole science of geology, biology is not including a bunch of strange things." However, reports of living continues to flow in the solid rock.
The phenomenon of life on the solid rock often found in scientific journals in the nineteenth century. Oldest examples of these events comes from the 16th century. Ambroise Pare, chief surgeon Henry III of France wrote, "When sitting in the village of Meudon and supervise people who told us to break the hard rock, amid the stone frog that we found a large, healthy and alive. Workers said that was not the first time they found a frog living in the stone. "

In 1865, Hartlepool Free Press reported that a worker who was breaking a granite boulder found a cavity in the rock, and therein found a live frog. The frog eventually became Mr pets. S Horner, president of the Natural History Society and the frog was kept alive outside the stone. First discovered, the color of the frog's body is similar to the color of the stone where he lived, but when released from the stone, the color begins to change into normal.

During World War II, a British soldier who was working to dismantle the stones to create not just a way to find even a frog, but also a large lizard on the rocks.Drawn below the mummy frog discovered in 1899 by a worker in a mine in British rock.

Theories put forward about how a frog could get into the hard stone is: a tadpole accidentally get into the crack rocks. As they grow, the cavity becomes larger stones and adjust to the shape of her body. Maybe they live by eating the insects that get stuck into the rock and drinking from water seepage.

This theory makes sense, but never found a frog in a truly rock solid with no voids and stone is embedded deep in the soil. It seems natural for human beings still remains a mystery.
