SOPA is an acronym which stands for Stop Online Piracy Act or also known as HR 3261 is a bill that filed by Lamar Smith told representatives of the United States (U.S. House of Representatives) on 

October 26, 2011.With this bill the United States law enforcement and copyright holders will have the authority and ability to combat online piracy, theft of content, and the duplication of copyrighted intellectual property. 


This bill does not get a positive response from people all over the world who have considered the consequences after this bill was passed.Many companies that oppose the legalization of internet giant SOPA very rigid once like Google, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn Mozilla. 
To give a clearer picture about this issue, an organization supported by Mozilla, Creative Commons and Wikimedia has created an Infographic showing the effect of the bill is named SOPA at an internet company.



AWhat happens if the bill is enacted?

   * With this bill it's possible the U.S. government to block American citizens who access these sites are breaking the law
   * Blocking DNS will be used to censor and block web sites in the United States
   * With the same method will be followed by countries such as China, Iran, and Syria

Is the result after this bill applies to a webmaster or website maker?

   * If your site got the case, your site will be blocked and your site will not receive visitors from the United States
