A Oopart (Out Of Place Artifact / Artifact is not in place) is a term given the dozens of prehistoric objects found in various places around the world with a completely different level of technology with their determined age based on physical, chemical and or with evidence geology. 


Artifacts are not in place that often are frustrating to conventional scientists and is something exciting to adventurous investigators and individuals interested in alternative scientific theories.

In 1998, electrical engineer John J. Williams found something that looks like an electrical connector sticking out of the ground. He started digging and found that three-toothed stekker sticking in a small stone. 


According to Williams, the strange stone he dug a excursions in the countryside in North America, far from human settlements, industrial complexes, airports, manufacturers of electronic or nuclear power plant. 


Because it might reduce the credibility of its findings, Williams refused to tell the exact location of his find, for fear it will be looted by relic hunters valuable (mysterious). 
Known as Enigmalith (stone puzzle that is a combination of the word enigma / puzzle and monolith / single stone) or Petradox. 


Of its forms can not be denied again this tool is an electronic component embedded in a solid form of natural granite with quartz composition (hard mineral containing silica) and feldspar (rock formed from aluminum silicate minerals). Including mica in a very small percentage. 


With regard to the secrecy surrounding the discovery, the price tag of $ 500,000 and the existence of a theory of extraterrestrial (who said the object was the object carried by creatures from outer earth) around the object, the scientific community many of which had to categorize stone riddle as a devised solely made for popularity and profit for its owner. 


Nonetheless Williams explained that his unusual stones can be used every researcher for analysis. But so far scientists have distanced themselves to perform testing on the stone, although openly invited. 


According to Williams, who has consulted with an engineer and geologist to examine these examples, the electronic components are embedded in the granite that seems to leave no traces that have been glued together or assembled in a way that we never knew; clear that the object already exists on when the formation of stones. 


After the stone was discovered, the geological analysis of the stone was found about 100,000 years old - according to conventional understanding, when viewed from the development of human technology then this is a technically impossible. 


Instruments found in Petradox by several investigators have compared with an XLR connector electronic or similar components. It generates a weak magnetic attraction and the reading on the ohm meter shows that it has a power of an open circuit.

While skeptics (not easy to believe) believe it as an affectation only. Williams assured that he has unearthed a relic of the true value. Whether it's ancient manmade or alien technology, and he really wanted the scientists to prove its authenticity. 



But William insisted that he should be present during the analysis, so that the stone was still maintained its integrity and he does not have to pay for the researchers involved. 


Some people believe that scientists were keeping their distance from the sample because they are afraid of what they would find. Although scientific analysis to strengthen it as a carefully devised, but it probably also would radically alter our understanding of human history. 


If the example set is genuine, the researchers also need to think about design. Why such a component was planted on a rock? What is the function of such a thing?
