Jacko - a mysterious creature from Fraser River
Maybe you do not understand the title of this post. No, I'm not talking about Michael Jackson. But the events of Michael's death reminded me of one legendary creature in the world kriptozologi Jacko. Did you know that Jackson is not Michael Jackson close calls? It is a call that was created by the tabloid mockery. They used to call him Wacko Jacko, Jacko is crazy. So
along with the death of Michael Jackson, I am moved to write about
Jacko, just to knowledge for those of you who do not know Jacko legend
of Fraser River.
The story begins on July 4, 1884. On
that day, a local newspaper in British Columbia, Canada, called the
Daily British Colonist showed a remarkable story on the main page with
the headline "What is it?"
The newspaper wrote that a railroad employee of British Columbia Express Company named Mr.. Costerson with some of his friends have captured a mysterious creature shaped Gorillas. The creature looks like a half human and half animal.
The first time the creature was seen by a machinist Ned Austin from the train that was speeding. Ned thinks someone is lying on railroad tracks. He immediately stopped the train just in front of the creature. Suddenly the creature stood up and barked and immediately crawl onto Fraser river bank.
A friend named Ned RJ Craig climbed the cliff and threw the creature with a stone. The creature was hit by a stone and fell down unconscious. The train crew tied him and took him to town. The residents who had received word that arrests gathered in large numbers at the train station to watch.
The creature was dubbed by his captors Jacko. He looks like a gorilla, about 1.4 meters tall and weighing about 65 kg. He has long black hair and her face does look like a human. Her whole body was also covered with hair except for her hands, palms and feet. His arm is longer than the human arm and the creature seemed to have extraordinary powers. Ever the creature was seen holding a wooden stick and broke it with ease.
While in confinement, the creature several times a strange sound like a combination between the bark and growl. Surprisingly,
during his incarceration, the creature was becoming increasingly
familiar with the keeper, Mr. George Tillbury who immediately took him
to London to show it off.Following the news that Jacko was never heard from again.
From
the description of the witnesses, the possibility of Jackson is a
gorilla or a chimpanzee, but his voice is weird like that barking causes
the identity of a mysterious Jacko. Gorilla or a chimpanzee does not make a sound like that. But Jackson did not match the description of Bigfoot generally have a higher body, not just 1.4 meters. In
the 1950's when the news began to spread about the Sasquatch, Jacko
back story to draw attention in 1961 when a prominent kriptozolog named
Ivan T Sanderson mentioned it in a book he wrote entitled "Abominable
Snowmen: Legend Come to Life".
Subsequent
years, challenge the truth of this story began to emerge, one from a
man named John Green who decided to investigate this story. In
1975, He and Mrs. Sanderson (wife of Ivan T Sanderson) writes in a book
that Jackson's story is just an engineering of the Daily British
Colonist newspaper.
Green
researching microfilm archives in 1884 newspapers throughout British
Columbia and did not find adequate support for the story. Even
one of the papers published by other British Columbia wrote that the
story of Jacko led police arrested 200 people who are considered to lie.
Green concludes that the story is just an engineering Jacko.
However, this story does not end there. Some parties are confirmed by other researchers such as John Kirk claimed to find several key witness Jacko invention. An example of a named Chilco Choate said that his grandfather at the time actually saw Jacko. Another
resident named Adela Bastin said that her mother still remembers the
story of Jackson and his mother was also recalled how the British
Columbia created a scene with the discovery. In
1973, one claiming the grandson of a judge in British Columbia said
that Jackson sent to the east with England incorporated into the cage. And since it is no longer heard her story.
Jacko story may never be confirmed. However,
over the decades and even up to now, the residents of British Columbia
are often reported strange creatures such as Bigfoot sightings in the
area of Fraser River, where Jackson was found. The most recent is dated July 22, 1966 when a man named John Mckernan see a creature like bigfoot cross the dirt road.
