Planet X, Nibiru and its relationship to end 2012

Recently I got a question about the Mayan prophecies and 2012. On another occasion, I asked about Nibiru and its relation to the year 2012. So I decided to post the article on this topic. In 3 years, I'm sure we'll often hear about these topics mentioned. 

In this article, I will not directly talk about the Mayan calendar. I will only discuss Planet X, Nibiru and its relation to the year 2012. I think to understand the relationship with the Mayan calendar 2012, we must understand the concept of Planet X and Nibiru first. Problem Mayan calendar I will write in another post.To simplify the explanation, I'll write it in chronological order of time. Perhaps this writing there is no element of mystery because it's just to add to knowledge. Although I would like to discuss it briefly, but it seems this post is long enough as well (sorry).

Michael D. Coe, a researcher and writer began to popularize the concept of end December 21, 2012 which is based on the calculation of the Mayan calendar. The concept of Michael D Coe was quoted by many authors continue until the 1990s.

 

In 1976.A controversial book titled "The Twelfth Planet" by Zecharia Sitchin was launched. In his book, Sitchin reinterpret ancient Sumerian writings that have been 6,000 years old by renaming the Sumerian gods with hypothetical planets names.According to Sitchin, the period before the planet earth, there is a planet called Tiamat which lies between Mars and Jupiter. One day orbit of the other giant planets Tiamat enter the amount of about 20 times Jupiter. The planet is called Nibiru. Nibiru itself means "crossing place" or "place of transition".This encounter led to Tiamat collided with one month of Nibiru. Fraction of these collisions cause the formation of planet Earth.According to Sitchin, Nibiru is the indwelling of an alien race called the Annunaki which has an orbital period of 3630 years around the sun. Annunaki who survived the crash and then coming to earth. Then the story develops. Annunaki supposedly said genetically modified primate on earth by mixing it with their own genes to create homo sapiens (humans) as their slaves.When the Annunaki left the earth, they let the man (which is genetically modified primates) ruled the earth until they come back to earth. 

The followers of Sitchin then take the concepts and terms to describe Planet X Nibiru. For those Planet X are being sought is in fact Nibiru. 

This is the first meeting between the concept of Planet X and Nibiru.

 The followers of Sitchin then also connect the return of Nibiru with the calculation of the Mayan calendar doomsday. They then concluded that Planet Nibiru will go into Earth orbit on December 21, 2012.Remember that the planet's gravity will affect other nearby planets. Nibiru is said to have great 20 times Jupiter will certainly bring destruction to the planet earth.Now that Planet X, Nibiru and 2012 has been connected.

This could mean anything, from a planet to a galaxy.Not long ago, two astronomers confirmed that their findings indicate the presence of a galaxy (Ultra-luminous infrared galaxies - ULIRGs), not the planet. ULIRGs is a place where stars are born.

In 1994.

A researcher and astrologer named John Major Jenkins published a book called "Tzolkin: Visionary Perspectives and Calendar Studies"In his book he interprets the meaning of the Mayan calendar periods. Not something new, but Jenkins re-popularized the concept of the Mayan calendar that has been previously popularized by Michael D Coe. Jenkins considered the person most responsible for the spread of the concept of end 2012.Apocalypse 2012 again received the attention of the world, driven by the publication of Jenkins. 

Year 1995 

A psychic named Nancy Lieder claimed that he was warned by an alien race living on a planet that lies in the planetary system Zeta Reticuli that Nibiru will destroy the Earth in May 2003. 

Year 2003 

Nancy Lieder missed forecasts. May 2003, the world does not end. Nancy Lieder correct predictions to the year 2012. 

Year 2005

 Nasa announced that on October 21, 2003 had previously been discovered a new planet named Eris tenth. The people immediately associate it with Nibiru. 

April 2006

 Planet redefined the meaning of words. Based on this new definition, Eris in the category of mini-planet with Pluto. Moreover, the character is very far from Nibiru Eris. Orbital period of 556.7 years Eris only.

Year 2007 - present

Concept 2012 is turned back by a few popular books. But this time, Nibiru is not considered a cause of doomsday, but solar storms (solar maximum). Nibiru is simply a byproduct of discourse, covered by the popularity of solar storms.ConclusionNow the question is, can we say the concept of Nibiru and 2012 as a hoax?The answer is no!The concept of Nibiru and 2012 is an interpretation of ancient records by a researcher. We can never mention the interpretation as a hoax. Hoax is a deliberate lie and intended to ridicule or to certain advantages. Sitchin never intended to make fun of. He believes strongly in what he says.We might call a hoax was the claim that Planet Nibiru has been discovered by NASA. NASA has denied it. Yet somehow the followers of Sitchin never accepted the denial of NASA.If you asked me, whether I believe that the planet Nibiru will come to earth on December 21, 2012.The answer is: I do not believe it! I even do not believe none of the concepts and theories that were written in the book Sitchin.But what I believe you should not believe too. Hold what you believe. I will not argue.
